  • @champagne4losangeles - I wrote a novel in response.  Seriously, it's about ten pages.

  • 1
       a) Who are you? I'm Stefanie Lorane Roszkowski.  I'm a very artistic, compassionate, quiet, generally calm and content, thoughtful, dedicated, energetic, crazy, bisexual, 23-year-old, three-time college drop out.   b) Describe yourself in three words. I'm always growing.

    2
What do you hope to accomplish with your life?

I hope to not let my disabilities control me for the rest of my life.  I want to surpass them to the greatest extent possible, and inspire and educate others -- make a blessing of my curse.  I want to become a well-paid artist, a wife and maybe a mother.

    3
What are some things you've already accomplished with your life?  (Positive only.) Creating a successful online shop and making money doing what I love.  Graduating high school with honors.  Learning my limits and how to not become overly discouraged.  Learning French.  Becoming a great driver.

    4
    a) How do you feel people currently perceive you?  Mixed.  I think some are greatly inspired by me.  Some look down upon me because I will never fit their idea of a normal person.  I am misunderstood by most, although not always in a negative way.  Some pity me.  Some envy my talent.  Most probably think I'm a lazy freeloader, even if they don't voice that opinion.  Certain individuals think I'm a terrible, lying, manipulative person... which is so far from the truth, it's laughable.  I don't think anyone who knows me would ever want to be in my shoes, though.

    b) How do you perceive yourself?   I see myself as a determined, intelligent, creative, aggravatingly disabled, insane, secretly both very confident and very insecure person.  I often think of myself as worthless because of how much I have to depend on others, but other times, I think there's nothing in the world that can stop me.  I try to contribute as much as I can and in as many ways as I know how.  I do my part, even if it's not monetarily.  I am proud of my accomplishments and discouraged when I can't meet my own high expectations.

      c) How do you wish to be perceived (by yourself and others)?  As a strong-willed, diligent, loyal, loving, intelligent, exceptionally talented individual who never gives up and always tries her hardest... even when she's at her worst.

       d) How can you work to change that perception of you? I don't think I can change others' perceptions of me.  They either choose to get to know the real me, or they don't.

    5
      a)  Name 6 things you really like about yourself.    I am very artistic (and good at it).  I refuse to give up.  I have overcome crazy odds and become a good person despite all the challenges in my life.  I'm open-minded.  I am very giving.  I am in great physical shape.

     b)  Name 6 things you really don't like about yourself.  I can't control what goes on in my head (and sometimes my actions) because of my illnesses.  I get discouraged a lot.  I can never be "normal".  I desire women but cannot/will not have them because I'm in a committed, monogamous, heterosexual relationship; this makes me feel very conflicted sometimes.  I wish I could lose those last 10-15 pounds, but I honestly don't know if I will be able to without resorting to surgery or other extreme methods... which I am not willing/able to do.

      c)  What one thing do you hate about yourself most / most wish to change? I wish I could work a normal job so I can contribute more.

      d)  What one thing do you love about yourself most?  My body functions beautifully.

    6
       a)  What do you think of your life?  It's been tragic, painful and challenging, but has improved greatly over the past three years.  I've questioned many, many times whether it's been worth living, and I'm glad I've decided to stick around.

    b)  How would you like to see it improve? Money would fix almost all of my problems.

    7
How do you feel your past has helped shape you into who you are now?  Countless ways.  I could write an entire book about it (and am, in fact!).

       a)  How are you going to learn to fight the lies people tell you about yourself in the future? Show them that those lies are wrong with my words and actions.  Let them judge for themselves who/what I'm really like.

    9
How are you going to learn to show compassion to (and understanding of) the people around you?  I'm already a very compassionate and understanding person.

    10

From then on I was hooked,I became "the helper" When I was 10 I helped a neighbor who was handicapped from polio as a child. I hung her laundry up and took it down every week...and on and on. Now I help when I can but not to be noticed.

i helped a friend get through her last year of school. :D

  • this is really beautiful.

  • I'm gonna use this on my blog sometime. Hope you don't mind :]

    Have a great day xox

  • It has been quite a while since I looked at your Xanga site, quite a while indeed, and I am totally amazed that you have not BLOCKED me already.  I think I will try to answer your quiz diva another night when I am a little more bored, and a little more sober, probably in my law office when I just cannot focus on any more boring files.  Legal files, the big square red kind, not WordPerfect files necessarily.  Lawyers are mostly real scumbags by the way and so are doctors.

I am not so sure if anybody would want to read my answers though.

  • Question One
    I'm a daughter, a sister and a best friend.
Three words to describe me would be: gay; lesbian and homosexual.
I want to be a physcologist but secretly I want to be an fbi agent.
The only way of reaching both goals is to get into university I guess.

    Question Two
I want to accomplish knowing what I want to accomplish I guess.
I take each day a step at a time.
I'd like to save more life's I guess.

    Question Three
I dont know how others perceive me. I try not to care. As some peoples opinions, if only I knew, they might have the power to crush me.
I dont know how I perceive myself yet. In a way I dont think I want to know.
I would like others to percive me as friendly. I could probably talk to people more instead of sticking with my old friends group. Make myself look more approchable and easier to talk to.

    Question Four
The things I like about myself areThe fact that I have the ability to hold a proper converdation with myself and not get bored. My immense imagination that can get me out the worst situations
My music taste. The way I could be an awsome stalker. My gorgeous and very big vogue magazine collection. The caring side of me.The things I hate are My weight, my hair, my face, my mental health, me. I dont really know how I can change the things about myself. The only answer I could probably give you is plastic surgery. Fat removal yes. But never any surgery on the face. Ever.

    Question Five
The one thing I love about myself has to be either my caring side or imagination. I cant decide. The one thing I truley wish I want to change about myself has to be my weight.

    Question Six
I wont depress you by going into massive detail about how much I hate my life. Lets just say I want my mental health to improve.

    Question Seven
My past has deffinatley made me a stronger person. More emotionally stable. Less weak on the outside.

    Question Eight
I wont fight the lies. I'd fight them. Or if I ask them for there opinion and they tell me the truth, fair enough.
If I cant take the answer; dont ask the question.

    Question Nine
I show a pretty good understand of people I guess.
I study the mind and body.
Yet, I dont study people. Im just there for them.

    Question Ten
I was doing my monthly walk to a shop to buy my vogue magazine.
    Long story cut short?
I talked a guy down from throwing himself of a bridge :)
